Frank! suffered his first crushing defeat when he was rejected by the preeminent Antiques & Collectibles National Association’s Conference slated for January in New Orleans.Apparently Frank! didn’t hammer with the strength of hurricane Katrina despite his best effort, and his idea for reinvigorating the antique industry, was brushed aside. They rejected his plea to have at least one seminar at their event on social networking. The antique business is no stranger to social networking: flea markets, antique shows, auctions, antique malls. These are all activities with a strong social component. New Orleans Conference hammered by Social networking Campaign
As the preeminent antiques and collectibles conference these days, Frank! is encouraging the Antiques & Collectibles National Association (ACNA) to incorporate at least one workshop on Social Networking in their upcoming educational seminar in New Orleans. First they were hit by Katrina, now they are being hammered by Frank!Since their last conference three years ago, not only has the nation changed, the industry has changed.
